  • VANS Store Chicago 1051 North Rush Street Chicago, IL, 60611 United States (map)

Come out to see four extremely talented musicians from SAIC perform: Necatuss, Yung Assata, Wonnie, and S2eph!

S2ephi (https://soundcloud.com/s2ephi)
A singer who was recently featured on Necatuss' "Mr Winfield and The Endless Summer off of his debut EP. Her versatile singing, lyric writing abilities, and composition skills make her a triple threat as a singer. Fans and supporters eagerly await for any new music or for a debut release of her own.

Wonnie (wonnie.bandcamp.com)
"A guitarist hailing originally from Chicago, Illinois. He currently records under the moniker "wonnie" and is working on his first release with his band TROCAZ, which is a collaboration with UK guitarist, Tom Smith Rosser. His debut EP "The Healing Process" won Berklee College of Music's Songwriter Scholarship in 2016 and is free to download on his Bandcamp." -Wonnie's artist Statment

Yung Assata (https://soundcloud.com/yungassata)
"My ma said I can be anything I wanna be..told er I wanna be a rapper" -YungAssata
"Yung Assata is a rapper operating out of Chicago. In a post-election climate that makes almost every creative move a political one, Yung Assata’s forthcoming debut LP is in the process of taking on an inevitable activist edge. Inspired by her own experiences as a young, queer African American female, Yung Assata is writing anthems for her muse, her family, her friends and her community." -Jingyu Lin of "Hunger"

Necatuss (https://soundcloud.com/necatuss) (www.necatuss.com)
“I feel like if Ozzy Osbourne were born in the early 90’s and started making music today, he would produce something that sounds an awful lot like Necatuss” - Molly Hankins of NEST HQ
"Necatuss is the sound design work of Patrick Soper. He is just 18(21 now) and is already creating incredibly complex and beautiful compositions. " - The Deli Mag
