CULTURAL ART & MUSIC BLOCK PARTY

This will be a free all ages event from noon‐10pm with accepted donations to benefit The Simple Good. 
Our mission is to bring diverse areas of the community together to showcase their simple good and unite on various artistic platforms. Expect the unexpected as diverse synergies gather on one block. 

This cultural art and music block party will create innovative exchange with the Chicago creative community and act as a fundraising event for the 501c3 non‐profit organization, “The Simple Good,“ whose mission is connect the meaning of ‘good’ from around the world to empower at‐risk youth and to bring positive alternative outlets into communities through art, music and discussion. 

FEATURED ELEMENTS:
Daytime youth activities including art showcases, open mic and dance performances.
Live art murals, 
Interactive Simple Good Art Wall
2 music stages ( one DJ stage and one band/performer stage), 
Skate demos from Uprise skate shop
Projection installations, 
Break dancin performances, 
Beat making workshop by Slot A
Artists showcases and vendors.

**Esteban Del Valle: 
Chicago born artist who's work investigates the performance of leadership, the role of the artist as a public figure, and the effects of class and privilege on institutions in the form of paintings, murals, sculpture and video art. He has exhibited internationally and has been the recipient of several arts residencies and awards. He currently resides in Brooklyn New York.

**Ceno2 from Singapore: 
Ceno2’s desire is to share his art with people, to uplift communities and to have his art allow someone to feel better about their day. This desire led him to start Artkhalytis, a creative arts company that serves as a platform to use graffiti for commercial and private projects, 
which kept him on the right side of the law. Commercial projects allowed Ceno2 to discover “Graffiti Fine Art,” which is the use of spray paint as a medium with the technical skills of western fine art to create paintings based off of artistic movements such as realism, surrealism, and cubism; instead of the usual street “tagging.” http://www.ceno2.com/about-ceno2/http://www.ceno2.com/about-ceno2/ 

**Radah TNS crew: Francisco Rada also known as The Champ is a Chicago artist and gallery curator with strong roots in the arts and more specifically the Mexican arts community. His love and respect for his culture and heritage led him to a unique opportunity to educate children in Morelia, Mexico.
