ABOUT THE EVENT
The environment surrounding you and the elements within, shift your perception and experience. This series of ACTIVATE: Backstage, presented by SONIDOS, focuses on the facets of theater production (light, sound, scenic) in order to expose the audience to the technical and design components of production as they play a critical role in creating and altering an ambiance. This representation will stimulate creativity and technical knowledge of how these production facets can create a more impactful theatrical experience.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
We are looking for 2 dimensional artwork (works that can be hung like a painting) that speak to the theme of theater, or the technical elements that make theater shine: light, sound, and scene.
Size can range from 1’ x 1’ to 10’ x 10’
